Text used within my InDesign article.

I had plans to write an article all about Kirsty, so started to look through magazines and read articles. Slowly I realised that the articles that I am most likely to read are ones that don't look too intense. I particularly like question and answers. It keeps something fast paced and allows the most of the interviewee to come out. So I came up with several, quite random questions to give a taste of Kirsty's personality.

A more 'Kirsty' design.

Despite being happy with the other design I wanted to add more of a sense of Kirsty and perhaps show her work in the article. I adapted her logo from her blog and thought about putting her work (shown below) on the article too.

I have decided to stick to my minimal look and will only put the cards on, editing them and cropping them down.

I also tried some colours behind the page, but it didn't look very good.

Additions to interview. Some more interesting questions.

Now to wait for Kirsty's reply then add it to the interview.

Altering her 'logo'

Further Layout Trials

I decided to take the first image from her blog to show her style and taste, as she'd designed this herself. It works well with the picture I picked of us both. This image I also edited to black and white so that it wouldn't conflict with the simplistic theme and the pink of the logo.
