Man Repeller Initial Logo Ideas

To begin my Man Repeller brief I decided that the most necessary thing to begin the design process was the logo. I want to concentrate on packaging for this brief, so my intentions are to create a strong logo which can then be transferred to different packaging options.

The main criteria I want the logo to fulfill are:

• Transferability, I want the logo to be applied to a variety of media eg website, sticker, label, packaging- boxes/bags, business cards, coat hangers. 
• Up-to-date, I want a logo that is not dated, it needs to be current and so I might consider fluros, monochromes, metalics, patterns etc. (With regards to this I could take colour palettes from magazines, such as Vogue).
• Strong typography, I think that focusing on typography will allow me to create an image with the use of type. I don't want to use other peoples images and think that my strength is in type so exploring this is important to my design progression. 
• Geometric shapes, I want to achieve a logo that is all of the above and bringing it all together with a strong shape will allow it to be contained, however this is the least of the above criteria that I am concerned about.
