Experimenting with type and old movie effect

Below the storyboard I used as working boards to produce the above. There is an obviously mistake with the type at the end, but it was good to try the use of an effect (in this case the old film) which helped me start to become more adventurous with after effects. (Admittedly nothing wild).

The old film effect I thought added a depth to the animation, rather than being quite plain it added more anticipation and perhaps added to the movement. Rather than the type enlarging, it had another movement that was constant. 










After producing the sequence above, I started thinking about the images I wanted to incorporate within my sequence or idents. I had not decided on a set subject matter or way in which I was going to execute  it. 

At this stage I felt that experimentation is really important. I am going to continue to experiment and see where that takes me..then decide on a set subject matter and organise that through stroyboards. 









At this stage I am still going to consider using facts that I found in my initial research as I think it might add to the program. Creating more interest about
