Typography PM session// page

Indent and line space can be used when point size gets larger and leading reduced but it still needs to be fitted within the same space.

Never create negative leading, below what is set by automatic.
Leading 

12pt on 14 always keep the 2 points clear 


Indentations used to make it appear that there is not as much text there, eg contracts without indents not used to make people less likely to read.

TAB key - 10ml







Minimum letter of the last sentence could be a two letter word plus a full stop, so if you're indenting more than that could create a widow through the type.



Either use line space or an indent, NOT THE TWO.

One would rather read the text on the left.

Within fonts, look at how much space they use, leading, etc. 

The colour of a page, if we choose a lighter typeface then the colour of the page can be subtle. Sensing the gage, how you look at a page overall.

Point size and leading control the tone of the page.

Layout and the use of text. 
When wanting to be more creative, use the smaller details such as spacing to create more white space for you to be creative in.
