After my mock up, I tried to print on different stock, this is thicker cream stock, still paper, as I am financially limited to the mac suite. However it makes the type and images a lot lighter, which I much prefer.
However, the mac suite printer was being a bit of a pain and leaving black dots all along the pages, so I decided to just stop the job as I wasn't willing to have this as my final pieces.
As I'd done all of my designing on indesign on my own laptop, this was the first time I had really worked with indesign, ensuring I had links for each image, then packaging it all to take it to another mac to print. It all worked successfully and proved to be really useful, as a learning curve.
